Our research team

The charity funds the team running the Molecular Imaging Research Centre. There are many specialist skills between the employees and many years of dedicated training within the area of health sciences. The team originates from a mixture of NHS Trust trained staff and university research professionals.

Dr Louis Allott

Dr Louis Allott is an expert in radiochemistry and radiopharmaceutical development. He has a PhD in PET Radiochemistry and has held research positions at prestigious institutions in the UK, including the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and Imperial College London.

Sallyann Wright

Head, Operations & GMP Production Manager

Sallyann is at the forefront of operations at the MIRC and is responsible for making sure radiopharmaceuticals, manufactured on site by her capable team, are produced efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality demanded by UK regulators.

Quality Control Manager

Venkat joined the MIRC project in June 2024 and plays an essential role as the Quality Control Manager.
