The Hull and East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre Charity (Daisy Appeal) registered charity number 1095652 in England and Wales was established in 2003 to provide cutting-edge research and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for the populace of Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire. The charity is also a registered company in England and Wales registration number 4017833.
The charity to date has built and equipped an £8 million research and teaching centre which opened in 2008 and in 2014 opened the £4.5 million Jack Brignall PET-CT Scanning Centre. Both these facilities are based on the Castle Hill Hospital site in Cottingham, East Yorkshire.
The charity is now fundraising to build a £7.2 million Molecular Imaging Research Centre which will produce its own radioactive tracers. This will allow not only the scanning of patients with cancer but also those with certain heart and neurological conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease.
The charity has one subsidiary, Daisy Medical Research Limited (registered company number 7405698).
The Daisy Appeal collects information from the public in a number of different ways;

The Daisy Appeal will not sell your personal information to other organisations for them to use in their own marketing activities.

If you support us, for example make a donation, volunteer, register to fundraise, sign up for an event, we will usually collect;
