Patrons, trustees and benefactors

The Daisy Appeal has many patrons and trustees who generously donate their time and talents to help us save local lives. Their involvement greatly increases awareness of the Daisy Appeal and helps us improve the survival chances of thousands of local people each year.

Our Board of Trustees is responsible for overseeing the management of the Daisy Appeal to ensure it is effective in doing the job that it was set up to do. Our trustees bring a wide range of skills and experience and play a key role in the running of the charity.

Benefactors

The Daisy Appeal improves the survival chances of thousands of people each year and gives all of our patients and their families a brighter future - our benefactors help make our world-leading research possible.

Thanks to all of our generous benefactors, we have been able to raise more than £12.5m to fund cutting-edge research and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

We’re hugely grateful to the thousands of people who have donated to us already, and no matter how big or small the donation, every penny helps us in our mission to give faster, more accurate diagnosis.

But we urgently need more individuals and groups to get involved to ensure we can continue to provide our world-class and internationally-acclaimed research.

A regular annual or monthly donation will significantly impact the lives of local people. You may never meet the people you help, but they will know you helped them.

Your gift will support our lifesaving work in the fight against the region's biggest diseases.

While you’ve been reading this, another local person will have been diagnosed with a life-threatening or life-changing illness. They and their families and friends will be entering a time of great uncertainty and fear.

Please contact us to find out more about becoming a benefactor. Your donation will make a difference.

Thank you.
