Research

The Molecular Imaging Research Centre is a beacon of innovation and excellence. Having state-of-the-art facilities that are unparalleled in the North of England

Our work » Research

Our facilities are equivalent – if not better – than the world-renowned institutions for PET research in London. We need new, better, and more accessible radiotracers, not just for our region but globally. The research we carry out at the MIRC is cutting edge, and our skilled team of researchers and scientists are developing brand new, world-leading radiotracer technologies, right here in Hull. What does this mean for you? Our patients in local clinicians will be able to access clinical trials and take advantage of these new diagnostics and potentially associated treatments before they become approved for use. This has the potential to be transformative for patient care.
