Daisy funds and operates 3 individual facilities at Castle Hill Hospital.

The Daisy Building houses the Hull York Medical School on the first floor with its own respiratory clinics.

The second floor is home to the charity office and a new Translational Wound Care Research Centre.

The Jack Brignall Centre is the PET-CT scanning facility at the hospital and is where patients receive the vital scans to help diagnose serious disease.

The Molecular Imaging Research Centre is the research and production unit housing the cyclotron, a particle accelerator which manufactures radioisotopes used in tracer production and PET-CT scanning.

The charity operates at the heart of a busy medical facility at Castle Hill Hospital in the Daisy Building.

The Jack Brignall PET-CT Centre opened in May 2014 in partnership with the Daisy Appeal Charity and Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

The MIRC was commissioned in 2024 and allows us to produce radioactive tracers which previously had to be sourced from outside the region.
