Venkat joined the MIRC project in June 2024 and plays an essential role as the Quality Control Manager, making sure the radiopharmaceuticals we produce meet with UK regulations and are safe for patients. Venkat draws on a wealth of experience gathered from various roles in analytical research and development, and quality control for both pharma and the radiopharmaceutical industry over the last 22 years, including a prominent position as Head of Quality Control, Siemens Healthineers - PETNET Solutions. Venkat says: “The MIRC is a unique facility, and I was eager to join the team to bring cutting-edge diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals to patients in the North of England, which are not routinely available on the NHS”. Venkat is a family man, and loves nothing more than to spend his free time with his children; he also has a passion for Britain’s Got Talent, so we wonder, do we have a “star in the making” at the MIRC?
100% of the donations received go to fund vital lifesaving research and provision of medical scanning facilities.
