David Allsup is a Professor of Haematology with an Honorary NHS appointment with Hull University Teaching Hospitals, based in the Queens Centre for Oncology and Haematology at Castle Hill Hospital.
His research interests include platelet disorders, the biology of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, novel therapeutic approaches for haematological malignancies and supportive care for persons with blood cancers. I have led multiple translational and clinical research programmes which have resulted in high-impact journal outputs.
He is the local haemophilia director and has additional clinical interests in inherited and acquired platelet disorders. He is also the local lead for chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL), in which he has a longstanding research interest.
100% of the donations received go to fund vital lifesaving research and provision of medical scanning facilities.
